Back to tool: PayPal Payment Test

1) Funding source & issuer risk control

Many failures are caused by the card issuer or bank risk controls. Try a different card, ensure 3D Secure (3DS) can complete, or try paying from PayPal balance.

2) Cross-border and regional restrictions

Some cards and PayPal accounts have regional limitations. Try a different currency or complete the payment in a supported region/account configuration.

3) Account verification / limits

New accounts may have limits. Completing identity verification and adding a confirmed funding source can help.

4) FX and checkout experience

Exchange rate presentation depends on your funding source and PayPal settings. The tool displays FX data only if PayPal includes it in IPN.

5) What to send when asking for help

Provide your Order ID (sid_...), currency/amount, and the timestamp. A screenshot of the PayPal error is optional.
